GST rate cut Brings Big Changes
The Government of India has changed the GST slabs. There are now just two GST rates — 5% and 18%. Motorcycles with engines up to 350cc will be taxed at 18% instead of 28%. This makes Royal Enfield bikes more affordable for buyers.

Prices now start at Rs 1,37,000 and go up to Rs 2,15,000 (ex-showroom). After adding insurance, registration, and taxes, most models cost less than Rs 2,29,900. Some top versions of the Bullet 350 or Classic 350 are almost as expensive as the iPhone 17 Pro Max 2TB.
Which Is a Better Deal?
People now have a choice. For about the same money, you could buy a top-end smartphone or a powerful Royal Enfield bike. With GST rates cut, motorcycles have become better value for money.

All these Royal Enfield motorcycles have the J-Series, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-oil cooled engine. It gives 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm torque with a 5-speed gearbox.
